Byre Barn Kent’s First Ever Content Shoot: A Sparkling Beginning

Last July marked a defining moment for Byre Barn Kent, the venue’s first ever content shoot, created to launch their website, Instagram and Google presence. As their venue consultant, I had the privilege of supporting the day, ensuring the space flowed beautifully, the gardens were showcased at their best and the supplier team had everything they needed to bring the vision to life.
And what a vision it was.
The heart of the concept centred around movement, joy and a bride who wasn’t afraid to run, quite literally, through the gardens in a sparkly dress that caught every shard of sunlight. It was playful, cinematic and exactly the kind of energy we wanted to introduce Byre Barn to the world with.
The Creative Direction: Two Dresses, One Story
We worked with two bridal looks to give the venue a versatile gallery for their launch.
Look One: The Sparkly Dress
The star of the shoot.
This dress was all about freedom shimmering fabric, flowing movement and a bride who looked like she’d stepped straight out of a modern fairytale. Watching her run through the gardens, skirt flying and veil trailing, created the kind of imagery that instantly tells a story.
Look Two: Soft, Romantic Elegance
The second dress brought a more classic, timeless feel.
Perfect for showcasing the greenhouse, the floral pathways and the softer corners of the venue, it balanced the boldness of the sparkly gown with a more traditional bridal silhouette.
Together, the two looks gave Byre Barn a rich, diverse set of images that speak to different styles of couples modern, romantic, playful and everything in between.
A Venue Ready for Its Spotlight
Because this was Byre Barn’s first shoot, the goal was to capture the venue in its purest form rustic beams, whitewashed walls, blooming gardens and all the natural charm that makes it so special.
The result is a gallery that feels warm, authentic and deeply connected to the landscape. It’s the kind of content that helps couples instantly imagine themselves there.
The Team Who Brought It All Together

Why This Shoot Matters
For a new venue, content is everything. It’s the first impression, the emotional hook, the visual story that helps couples picture their own day unfolding there.
This shoot gave Byre Barn:
• A full gallery for their website
• A cohesive Instagram launch
• Google imagery that reflects the venue’s true beauty
• A brand identity rooted in movement, romance and nature
Supporting this milestone was an honour and seeing the venue come alive through these images is something I’ll always be proud of.
