Terms and Conditions – Wild Events & Consulting
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all services provided by Wild Events & Consulting ("the Company"). By engaging our services, you ("the Client") acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions In these Terms:
• "Client": The person(s), organisation, or company engaging our services.
• "Company": Wild Events & Consulting • "Consultant": Kayleigh Wild, trading as Wild Events & Consulting (also referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”).
• "Assignment" / "Project": The work and services set out in the agreed proposal.
• "Services": The professional services offered by the Company as outlined in the proposal.
• "Fees" / "Price": The charges for the agreed services.
• "Terms": This set of Terms and Conditions.
2. Proposal
The engagement between the Client and the Company is confirmed through a proposal outlining the scope of work, along with receipt of a non-refundable deposit and acceptance of these Terms.
3. Services Provided
3.1 Description of Services
Wild Events & Consulting offers a range of services, including but not limited to:
• Full event planning and coordination
• Wedding and event venue consultancy
• Venue training and operational consultancy
• Marketing support for independent businesses (online and offline)
3.2 Exclusions & Limitations
Some services may be subject to availability or incur additional costs. Only services explicitly detailed in the proposal are included.
4. Communication
• The primary method of communication is via email: kayleigh.wild@wildeventsconsulting.com
• Video meetings are available with sufficient notice.
• We aim to respond to all emails within 48 hours (Monday–Friday).
5. Bookings
• By booking our services verbally or in writing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. government restrictions, natural disasters, strikes). In such events, our liability is limited to the fees paid to date.
6. Prices & Payments
• The agreed service price will be detailed in your proposal.
• Additional expenses (e.g. travel, parking) are billed separately. Mileage is charged at 45p per mile.
• Invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of the invoice date.
• All payments are non-refundable.
• Payment is to be made via BACS transfer.
• A 5% late fee may be added for overdue payments.
• Ad-hoc or additional services requested after the initial agreement will be invoiced separately.
7. Client Responsibilities To ensure the successful delivery of services, the Client agrees to the following:
• To maintain clear and timely with the Company throughout the duration of the project.
• To provide all necessary information, data, and documentation relevant to the services being delivered, in a prompt and organised manner.
• To grant access to all required platforms, systems, and materials needed to carry out the agreed services.
• To engage in regular reviews and collaborative meetings to support progress, address any issues, and ensure alignment with the project goals.
• To utilise the designated shared folders (e.g., Google Docs) for streamlined file sharing and documentation.
8. Data Protection
• We collect and hold only the necessary data to provide our services and manage our accounts.
• We comply with UK GDPR. Personal data will not be shared beyond what is necessary to deliver our services.
• With your permission, we may share business details or images for marketing purposes and may request to use professional photographs in our portfolio, website, and social media. We will not use personal photos without your prior approval.
9. Cancellations & Termination
• You may cancel our services by providing written notice via email. Upon cancellation, any fees paid remain non-refundable. Outstanding invoices must be settled before project files are transferred.
• We reserve the right to cancel services in exceptional circumstances. Should this occur, we will provide written notice and all relevant project materials upon settlement of outstanding fees.
• In the event of government restrictions (e.g. COVID-19), we will endeavour to work remotely to continue service delivery where possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
• We are not liable for any loss of profit, goodwill, contracts, data, or indirect damages.
• Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the services provided.
• It is your responsibility to maintain appropriate business and liability insurance.
• We hold professional liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
• You may be contacted after the project for testimonials or feedback.
• These Terms may only be amended in writing, signed by both parties.
• This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We are not liable for:
• Loss of anticipated savings
• Loss of goods or data
• Loss of contracts or business
• Any indirect or consequential loss
11. Marketing, Testimonials & Use of Imagery
• With your permission, Wild Events & Consulting may share details of your business and selected imagery for marketing purposes. This may include showcasing work via our website, social media platforms, and professional portfolio.
• If photoshoots or visual content are arranged as part of our services, images from these may be featured across our online channels and used to illustrate the work we’ve completed together. We may also develop written case studies highlighting the scope and outcomes of the project to provide insight into our process. Please note that any sensitive data or performance statistics will not be shared publicly without your express written consent.
• While we may request permission to use professional photographs related to your business, we will never use personal or identifiable photos of you, your staff, or clients without prior approval.
• Upon completion of the project, we kindly request that you leave a Google testimonial to share your experience with our services and help others make informed decisions.
12. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms are considered accepted upon confirmation of your booking, either by signing a proposal agreement or upon receipt of your non-refundable deposit whichever occurs first.
