If you’d told me a year ago, when Wild Events & Consulting was nothing more than a brave idea, a laptop, and a whole lot of determination that I’d be standing in a room full of the most inspirational women in Kent and walking away as a Runner-Up for New Business of the Year, I would never have believed you.
But here we are.
And honestly… I’m still taking it in.
A Night Filled With Powerhouse Women
The Kent Women in Business Awards are known for celebrating the bold, the brilliant and the women who are quietly (and not so quietly) changing their industries. To be recognised among them in my very first year of business is something I’ll carry with me forever.
Wild Events & Consulting was born from passion, grit and a desire to do things differently to bring creativity, clarity and heart into every project. Being acknowledged for that so early on is beyond anything I imagined.
Celebrating My Friends, Because Their Wins Feel Like My Wins
One of the best parts of the night was watching the women I admire shine just as brightly.
A huge well done to my incredible friend Karina, who not only secured Runner-Up for the Inspired Achievement Award, but also became a Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year. Her drive, resilience and heart are unmatched and seeing her recognised was a moment I’ll never forget.
To Adelle and Fiona, who took home WINNERS of the Social Enterprise & Charity Award for Stronger Together Through Cancer CIC your work changes lives. Your impact is real, powerful and so needed. This award couldn’t be more deserved.
And to Miranda Vernon, crowned WINNER of the Hospitality, Food & Drink Award for Pretty Petal Cake Co, your talent is unreal. Every creation you make is art and this recognition is just the beginning.
What This Means for Wild Events & Consulting
This award isn’t just a title.
It’s a reminder that the late nights, the risks, the learning curves, the “can I really do this?” moments… they all matter.
It’s proof that building something with heart resonates.
It’s encouragement to keep going, keep growing and keep creating experiences and strategies that elevate the people and businesses I work with.
Most of all, it’s a celebration of community, because none of us succeed alone.
Thank You
To my clients, collaborators, friends and family, thank you for believing in Wild Events & Consulting. Thank you for trusting me with your visions, your events, your launches and your stories.
And to the women in that room, thank you for inspiring me.
I left feeling lifted, energised and more determined than ever.
Here’s to year two.
Here’s to growth.
Here’s to women building incredible things, together.
