Mini Case Studies

A contemporary rooftop restaurant, partnered with Wild Events and Consulting to explore weddings as a new revenue stream, initially envisioning them as a secondary offering. However, this direction evolved into a more strategic repositioning when the team chose to lead with their core strength, their identity as a lifestyle driven restaurant, rather than becoming a traditional wedding venue.

 

This shift resulted in a distinctive concept: a restaurant that hosts exclusive, experience led weddings. The strategy focused on showcasing Socialite’s standout features, including a dramatic lift arrival, a statement bar, a rooftop terrace with relaxed luxury interiors, all complemented by modern, trend led dining layouts.

 

We curated a styled shoot which captured this immersive experience, supported by collaborations with local suppliers. Wild Events and Consulting delivered full spectrum support across branding, marketing, sales systems and operational planning, ensuring a seamless launch.

 

Despite a slight delay, the result was a compelling market entry, positioning Socialite as a boutique wedding destination, hosting a limited number of highly curated celebrations each year while maintaining its strong restaurant identity.

Byre Barn Wedding Venue

A brand new countryside wedding venue, partnered with Wild Events & Consulting to build a complete wedding business from the ground up, starting with no existing infrastructure. The project evolved into a full scale creation of a market ready venue, encompassing brand identity, pricing strategy, systems and customer experience.

 

A suite of wedding packages was developed to reflect the venue’s positioning, supported by a strategic pricing model aligned with its target audience. Alongside this, a cohesive website structure and brand narrative were created to ensure a polished and intentional digital presence, while key wedding platforms were optimised to drive early visibility and enquiries.

 

A comprehensive CRM system was implemented using Sonas, introducing automated workflows, lead tracking and streamlined booking processes to support long term scalability. The customer journey was carefully crafted to deliver a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to conversion, complemented by a structured showround strategy and post visit follow up process.

 

Launch support included open day planning and several themed content shoots to establish a strong visual identity. As a result, Byre Barn successfully launched as a fully operational wedding venue with professional systems, strong early demand and a clear, confident brand positioned for sustainable growth.

An established, but newly refurbished seafront venue, partnered with Wild Events & Consulting (in collaboration with Flutterbee Me Events) to reset and rebuild its wedding and events offering following a period of under performance.

 

Despite its strong physical asset, the venue lacked a clear strategy, with reactive operations, inconsistent marketing and low enquiry conversion. In response, all wedding advertising was paused to allow for a full strategic reset. A comprehensive audit of the brand, pricing, customer journey and sales processes was undertaken, forming the foundation for a more focused and aligned approach.

 

The project centred on defining a distinct wedding brand separate from the hotel’s core identity, refining target audiences and developing tailored packages and messaging to match. New, high quality visual content was created to better reflect the venue’s coastal elegance, alongside the roll out of a cohesive marketing and social media strategy. Early results have included increased team confidence, clearer internal processes and a stronger sense of direction, supported by a growing library of aspirational content.

 

With ongoing support across marketing rollout, sales training, operational systems and strategic partnerships, Dover Marina Hotel is now positioned for sustainable growth, with a clear pathway to becoming a sought after wedding destination within the Kent market.
